Safe & Affordable Housing: Creating access to secure housing options that give families the foundation they need to thrive. A safe home is more than a roof overhead it’s the starting point for stability, growth, and opportunity. By providing housing support, we help families build a strong foundation where they can focus on education, careers, and creating a better future for their children.
College to Career Pathways: Guiding youth and young adults from higher education into meaningful careers through mentorship, job readiness, and networking opportunities. By bridging the gap between the classroom and the workplace, we equip the next generation with the confidence, skills, and connections they need to succeed. Our goal is to ensure that every young person we serve can step into their future not just prepared, but empowered to thrive in their chosen career path.
Workforce Development: Equipping individuals with the skills and training necessary to enter or re-enter the workforce with confidence. Through hands-on training, career coaching, and practical job readiness workshops, we help people overcome barriers to employment and discover their potential. By building confidence and capability, we open doors to meaningful work, financial independence, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Family Services: Offering wraparound support to strengthen households, from daily living needs to long-term planning. We understand that every family faces unique challenges, which is why our services go beyond quick fixes. From providing food, clothing, and counseling to helping families create sustainable plans for education, careers, and finances, we surround households with the tools and care they need to grow stronger together.
Parent Services & Advocacy: Empowering parents through parenting classes, advocacy programs, and support networks to raise healthy, thriving children. Our skilled family advocates walk alongside each resident, offering personalized support that includes career, education, and financial counseling, as well as life skills and parenting workshops. We believe that strong families are the foundation of strong communities, and that’s why spiritual and faith-based counseling remain at the heart of Helen House.
